Caprichos Books is more than a book shop! It's a place where people come together to share their craft and support one another. Liz is so supportive of the community and has such a wide range of events and offerings at her shop. It's been so great to have this small business in our town. Caprichos has a great selection of books both new and used and gift items from local artisans. Stop by and experience this awesome place! You will not be disappointed!

Going completely virtual with Pop-Up Bookstores on the horizon?! I'm excited! Caprichos has been my favorite independent bookstore since they arrived in my life and now they can remain so, no matter where life takes me! 😄 Some reasons why I love Caprichos: 1) They've always delivered, whether they had my request on hand or had it shipped in. Never disappointed! 2) They've always been a liaison for local artists to display and sell their Jewelry, Paper Crafts, Cards, Bookmarks, and other wonderful handmade treasures. 3) They've inspired young readers & connected local writers through story-times, community events, and book signings. 4) Liz has always been welcoming, regardless the time of day or weather. 5) I could never walk out of the shop with /only/ what I came for 😅 6) I love that they carry quality used books. Meaning, some books are definitely well-loved, but they don't smell rotten! I'd much rather re-home a wonderful copy than see it tossed for a new print 💜 Thank you, Caprichos Books, for helping keep independent bookstores alive!

This is by far our favorite little locally owned book store. Liz is wonderful! My daughter loves the events Liz holds, but also just loves to spend time poking around the kids section. And I love that it's a great mix of new and used books...kids "outgrow" books so quickly it's nice to be able to get then used, more inexpensively. If you are in the Pines, come and support this wonderful place!

A cosy bookshop on the way to/fro Ocean City. Has a nice kids reading area and a great selection of books/activities. A great idea for a stop on a rainy day at the beach or to pick up some reading material on a drive back to DC. Staff is super nice and welcoming, and goes an extra mile/beyond to make it a memorable experience and your time a worth while. Highly recommend this cosy bookshop!

I really loved visiting this independent bookstore on Independent Bookstore Day this year. They have a great selection of new and used books, all at very reasonable rates. The shop itself is calm and cozy and made me feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area!

Shop local at this cute and quirky bookstore. We always stop in when we are close by. They have reasonable prices with great customer service and if they don't have what you are looking for it can easily be ordered.

Best little bookstore on the Shore! The owner is fantastic and truly invested in the community. She hosts unique events like beach bonfire book clubs and a walking audiobook club. She’s always willing to help people find their next great read, and every visit feels welcoming and personal.
